The Bender-Gestalt Test (or BGT) was developed by Lauretta Bender in 1938, to evaluate visuo-motor maturity of the children from 4 to 11 years, the developmental problems or the neurological disorders by child or adults.
The original test is composed of 9 figures issued from Wertheimers work (the Brannigans Bender revision or Bender II has 16). They are successively shown to the subject, which must copy them on the same sheet of paper.
The analysis is done on the exactitude of the reproduction (Koppitz) and other spatial characteristics (Hutt).
This test is of relatively complex interpretation and needs time for analysis. So the automation with Elian makes it much easier.
Elian provides helps for the traditional Koppitzs scoring, and instantly provides some of Hutts parameter, as others which were inaccessible until now.
